Name: Sil. Country: Cuba Comment: Ok. I get Good Friday, I understand it. However, why reenact the stages of Jesus walk to the cross? That's not even biblical. Or is it? The Bible doesn't mention the need to do this on this day. And if we are to live according to the Word of God, why add ceremonials to it? I remember Jesus, and I am thankful for what he went through for my sins. And I will pray on Good Friday just like I do anyother day. Amen. Name: cg Country: Georgia Comment: God is an awesome God! I don't see Good Friday as mourning time; however, it is a day of remembrance of the provision God himself provided for mankind. His only begotten Son, who came from Glory and was willing to be this world only and perfect sacrifice. He gave himself (willfully) a ranson on our behalf and if He had not been this world would not have HOPE. That is EVERYTHING to BE glad about. Therefore, Good Friday should be celebrated with joy, gladliness, thankfulness, with all praises given unto the Triune God! Hallelujah! Glory be to God! Thank you Jesus! Thanks to the Holy Spirit as our teacher and guide to all truth. AGAPE LOVE is action and Jesus showed God's Love for mankind. This is a time of celebration!
