Q: I am 5 months pregnant. This is my 1st pregnancy. I have been married for a year. Around the 8th week, I had some bleeding. A scan was done and I was diagnosed as having PLACENTA PREVIA. I was informed that the placenta would travel up as the pregnancy progresses (around 5th month or so). I occasionally get pains in my lower abdomen. What is your opinion? What are the do's and don’ts?
A: As the uterus grows, the placenta may migrate up. The pain in your abdomen has nothing to do with placenta previa. In fact, it is never a symptom of pl. previa. Don’t lift heavy things. No jumps, hassles or journeys. Take rest and do easy routine work. HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
