10 GARLIC CLOVES
3 CLOVES
1 INCH CINNAMON
3 BLACK CARDAMOMS
1 SPOON RED CHILLI POWDER
1 CUP DAHI/YOGURT
SALT.
FOR THE CURRY:
2 TOMATOES
1 ONION
HALF INCH GINGER
6 GARLIC CLOVES
HALF SPOON RED CHILLI POWDER
HALF SPOON TURMERIC POWDER
1 SPOON KASURI METHI
HALF SPOON GARAM MASALA
2 GREEN CHILLIES
2 BAY LEAVES
2 TABLESPOONS GHEE
SALT
CORIANDER LEAVES
1 TABLESPOON BUTTER. | METHOD | CUT THE CHICKEN. GRIND TOGETHER GARLIC, GINGER, CLOVES, CINNAMONS, CARDAMOMS. ADD THIS GROUNDED PASTE TO DAHI AND ALSO ADD RED CHILLI POWDER AND SALT TO DAHI AND MIX WELL. ADD CHICKEN PIECES TO THE DAHI MIXTURE AND MARINATE FOR ATLEAST 3 HOURS. BAKE THAT CHICKEN IN OVEN TILL ITS COOKED.
MAKE TOMATO PUREE. GRIND ONION, GINGER, GARLIC. HEAT OIL ADD BAY LEAVES, GREEN CHILLIES AND STIR. THEN AFTER 2 MINS ADD THE GROUNDED MASALA. AFTER 5 MINS ADD TOMATO PUREE, RED CHILLI POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER, GARAM MASALA KASURI METHI,SALT AND WATER. AFTER 3-4 MINS ADD BAKED CHICKEN PIECES AND BUTTER.FINALLY ADD CORIANDER LEAVES.
THIS DISH SHOULD BE SERVES WITH TANDOORI ROTI, NAAN OR PARATHA AND RAITA. |
