RED PUMPKIN RAITA Recipe | Salads and Raita Recipe by radha |
| INGREDIENTS | Red pumpkin - 250g
Grated coconut - 30g
Green chillies - 3 to 4
Coriander to garnish
Fresh curds- 200g
Turmeric
Salt to taste
Ghee - 1tsp
Bengal gram - 1tsp
Black gram - 1tsp
Hing a pinch
Curry leaves | METHOD | Peel the skin of pumpkin and boil it to soft. Allow it to cool and mash it soft then add turmeric, grated coconut, slat coriander and season it with ghee adding mustard seeds, Bengal gram and black gram, with hing, curry leaves and chopped g.chillies.
Then add beaten fresh curds (do not add water to the curds to beat) to it and serve with rice as a side dish :o)
