GOAN PRAWN CURRY Recipe
Main Course Recipe by Arati Rahane

  INGREDIENTS
250 gms Peeled and Deveined Prawns.
1 tbsp oil

For dry masala -
2 tbsp dry coconut powder
1 tsp corriander seeds
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp white peppy seeds (til)
2 tbsp Kaju
1 tsp cummin seeds
3 - 4 Methi dana
2 dry red chillies

For wet masala -
1 Onion (cut into small pieces)
3 tomatos grated
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste
4 - 6 Kadi patta (curry leaves)
2 - 3 Green chillies (as per taste)

Other ingrediants:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp wet coconut grated
1 - 2 cocum pieces

  METHOD
Roast all ingrediants of dry masala and keep aside.

Saute the ingrediants of wet masala over oil and make paste by adding the wet and dry masala together.

Roast the entire masala for 2-4 min.

Add 2 cups of water into the masala to make curry and bring to boil.

Later add prawns and cook for 2-4 mins.

When done add wet grated coconut and cocum before serving.
