Hi I have been facing skins problems with my legs since many years ago. I went to polyclinics, private clinics, and the medications they gave me did not improve the conditions but yet the irritations became worst. And now there are lots of dark brown scars on my legs which i dont even dare to approach anymore doctors for help. Recently, my both hands started having the same problem. Now Both hands and legs have alot of unsightly brown scars which made me very upset. And thus i decide to seek help. I read up on chemical peels, laser theraphy etc.. Hoping that one of these could be of help to me to get rid of every single one of the scar which i have on my hands and legs. Hi I used many types of product for my scars and I find mixing several oils together help fad and flat a surgical and indent scars that I had for over 20 years. hello~ im 13 yrs old, and i have scars on my chest and back from acne....it has been like this more over 10 months now and almost a year, and because of the scars, im afraid of wearing things like tanktops and shirts that show off the chest.....i found out about lemon juice is able to help treat the scars, but from what i hear they only really help if its on fresh scars...which mine aren't. I also have very light skin....which also worries me if the lemon juice will work or not. (i havent tried the lemon juice on my scars yet) What i really want to know is, is it possible for lemon juice help get rid of scars more than half a year old?....my only objective is to get the scars to fade away to a point to where i can wear tanktops and shirts that show the chest more...that way hopefully my skin will get darker and blend in with the scars if they dont completely fade away.

Hi, I got a bad case of the chiken pox when I was in 1st grade, age 6-7. The lotion that was supposed to make the pox not icth didn't work, resulting in my scratching them. So now I have chicken pox mark/scars. The only place where it is a real problem for me is that it's the worst on my face. There are more scars on the left side than on the right. Seriously, I've counted, and the majority of the scars on my entire body are from the chicken pox scars on my face. 32 on the left side of my face alone. I'm 13 years old right now, so the scars have been on my face for a while now. They've lightened up but they're like small dents in my face, 'cept on my forehead only like three/ four are really deep, so I really want them to go away. these scars have really done some dammage to my self-esteem. I'd be much happier if they would just go away, like they never happened. Please, give me some advice on what I can do to make them dissapear permantly.

Also, I use those Curad scar therapy pads when I get a scar from a zit, it usually heels with in less than a week without a scar. If there is a scar keep oitment or cream on it if there is a scab on it. It really works. I no longer get scars from my acne by using the pads .

Cherry, use scar therapy pads on your 2 year old daughters scar. If there is still a scab put an ointment on it before you put the scar therapy pad on it. Cut the pad a little bigger than the scar. Curad makes the scar therapy pad that I used and it is a clear pad, however there are other brands that probably work as well. Plastic surgeon just used scar pads for my young neice who fell and cut her face. He wants her to wear it everyday for 1 year. Of choose change pad as recommended on the box. They work miracles!!!! The pads also work very well on burns, I went to a dermologist when I had a 2nd degree burn on my face and he gave me those curad scar therapy pads and oitment and said wash it gently and keep ointment on it and pads and it will be heeled in 2 weeks and it was. Hello. I see most people here have problems with scars and acne and stuff. I think the most helpful thing for scars and facial is mix egg white, lemon juice, cucumber juice, few drops of honey and mix REALLY REALLY well. Then apply to your face and leave it there for fifteen to twenty minutes or more if you have oilier skin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a moist towel. I like to leave the towel on my face for a few minutes as well. Use twice a week. A little more will not hurt. Hope this helps!

hi ok this may seem like a lecture to all of u people suffering from pimples and scars..but u really gotta read this...ive been suffering from pimples and scars myself since the last 2-3 years...there was a time in my life when i just couldnt look at myself in the mirror,couldnt face anyone,stopped going out of the house,well anyways i know u people must be sick of getting pimples and scars all the time...ok first of all u gotta be patient,stop stressing over it,it takes sometime to get rid of all this..i will now tell u what all u can try at home..well recently..umm u can say since the last 2 months,ive been using no marks oil control gel/cream(make sure its for oily skin) twice..once after u have a bath and once before going to bed..gently massage it wherever u have scars..it will take sometime since it 100% herbal so its completely safe..no side effects plus after 1-2 weeks ur skin will start to glow..and u can also use lotus herbals tea tree face wash 2-3 times a day,u can also use lotus hebals tea tree gel(anti pimple and acne gel) atleast 2-4 times a day and each time leave it for 2-3 hours..its light but it might feel a little sticky but thats not a problem..tea tree is great remedy for acne and pimples and it soothes the skin..make sure u buy good products for ur skin..and also remember NEVER to touch or pop ur pimple no matter how much u want to..if u do,it will get infected and leave a badddd scar..i know some of u dont even touch it but still get a scar..it depends from skin to skin..i also get a scar everytime i get a pimple even though i dont touch it..umm what else..dont use harsh products on ur skin which dry ur skin out..cos ull get more and more pimples if u use harsh drying creams or gels..well i can name some like glyco-a,benzoyl peroxide(benzac AC),i got glycolic peels done for my pimples and scars and it completely cleared out my skin but not for too long..its just temporary..and its too expensive...just remember to stay happy,healthy,exercise 3-4 times a week,have faith in urself and god..dont lose hope,dont give up..life is beautiful..dont let such small things get in ur way and stop u from doing things..and oh yeah u can also use lemon and cucumber juice once a day for 15-30 mins..do not use multani mitti/fullers earth..it dries the skin too much which leads to more breakouts..and yes the most important thing..DRINK LOTS OF WATER..at least 8-10 glasses and those who exercise shoudl at least drink up 12 glasses..u can also do yoga or meditation which calm ur body and mind..i started drinking vegetable juice in the morning(spinach,cucumber and fresh coriander juice) it tastes nasty but if u want a clear glowing complexion,u gotta do all this..and also drink 1-2 glasses of lemon juice with water..it cleanses ur system and also helps u lose weight..u can try doing all this,stay calm even if u see a huge pimple or lots of them or whatever,take it easy,control ur anger,be stress free no matter what,stay happy,smile..give urself atleast 2-3 months to see a difference...trust me people..this will DEFINITELY help all of you...if anyone of u want..just remember to always feel good about urself!!!! and everyone around u will love you,,even if u have lots of pimples or scars on ur face..love urself and everyone will too!!! :-)

For anyone who needs to get rid of scars.......my sister had surgery this last summer on her back from skoliosis (however u spell it) but they inserted a rod from teh back of her neck all the way down her back. She felt so bad about her scar, one of my family members bought a scar fading gel from the store called New Skin Scar Therapy, it was good for all scars, including acne. I have had bad pimples for the longest time but its is starting to get better. I have been using two products at the same time ( yeah i know people say thats bad for the skin). I have been using proactiv, and neutrogena Visibly Even SPF 15 moisturizer. I use both in the moring as well as night. My skin has had a big improvement. i looks healthier and my acne is going away. I understand your frustrations with the scarring! My best advice is, after meeting a dermatologist etc. and all that for a "quick fix" 1) face: find a good foundation that doesn't cause you to break out, and find out how to use it and then use it very well so you can look in the mirror again! I had such a problem with my skin I felt so ugly and couldn't even function, and nowadays you can't even tell I have any skin problems because my foundation makes my skin flawless...my scars are fading over time, but until they are totally gone, I use the foundation...BUT when you use foundation MAKE SURE the color is right for your face, test it as many times and as many colors until you find the perfect fit!! It took me 5-6 until I found the perfect foundation that looked natural...sometimes you have to blend colors too. ALSO your skin needs to be healthy before you cover it with makeup (make sure it's noncomogenic--(sp?) doesn't clog pores and OIL FREE) so...drink a LOT of water, don't touch your face, DONT stress about things, allow yourself to be calm don't worry too much, watch what you eat, eat more fruits and vegetables...most important though is DRINK ENOUGH WATER...at first, if you drink your recommended 8-10 you may seem to be breaking out THAT"S OKAY...that's just for the first 2-3 days because your body is getting rid of toxins, but after that your skin will be PERFECT...also STAY out of the sun!! hey, i really knows how it feels not to be able to wear short skirts..and yes i have a scar left on the left cheek of my face caused by a burn when i used bezonyl peroxide to treat a pimple there. try garlie juice,it helps to lighten the scar. Lemon juice may not be that good as it's too acidic and then to have this "spicy" feeling on your skin. Cocoa butter is not bad and is a cheap alternative. Menderma scar treatment cream is also good but results are slow to show. I think that you all should go keep picking at the scabs ... I went to a doctor for this once all the scabs are off then your skin will start to heal by leaving the scab on, by the time it falls off there is a scar , don't wait for this to happen, it might be too late.

Okay, i know that this won't help all you people with scars, but here u go. For a pimple, try putting toothpaste directly on the pimple, and wear it to bed. When you wake up, get rid of the toothpaste with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. The pimple should be gone soon. :)

anybody on here who has skin problems should read this.. whether they be scars or pimples or unattractice marks.. you should always work on helping it from the inside.. improve your diet by eating more fruits and dirnking more water and having regular exercise, also try shea or cocoa butter for scars.. it helps lighten them a lot and make sure.. you relax for stress is a big problem for causing skin problems and make sure to shower after letting off a alrge amount of sweat.. hope this helps somebody:)

I'm 14 and I have lots of scars on my face and body, mainly from when I had chicken pox at an early age, but also because of pimples. I've tried a few things to get rid of them, but I've discovered the best thing to do is not touch your face too often, moisturise regularly, apply lemon juice to the scars, and apply perfume to any pimples so they dry up and don't leave too much of a mark. I was curling my hair and I accidently burned my forehead. I had a scab on my forhead so I peeled it off. Perhaps u wanna visit a dermatologists..but if u apply lemon to ur scars they will lighten..oh and u can temporarily close ur scars by applying ice on it everyday to tighter ur pores...hehe hope this helps ya!
