i've been trying to conceive for over 11 years. i've been to so many ob/gyn and fertility specialists over the years, not much they can do. they've put me on provera, clomids, birth controls, progesterone cream, profasi, gonal-f, all sorts of drugs to regulate my cycles and make me ovulate but nothing seems to work. one night, last year 2005 before turning on the computer, i said a little prayer because i was so desperate to become pregnant. i was googling for fertility drugs and i came across ovulex. everything sounds too good to be true...i was skeptical...but thought "i've got nothing to lose." so i ordered ovulex in may 2005, started taking it in june and had a cycle from ovulex in july. i was so excited! i was on ovulex for 6 months...it regulated my cycles and i fell pregnant in march 2006 but ended up having a miscarriage in june 2006 due to an accident i had at work. i re-ordered ovulex in june 2006 and started taking it in mid-june...had a cycle last month july and today august 23rd, 2006 i just found out i'm pregnant again. i guess everyone is different. i guess being patient and playing the waiting game really works too. my mom told me "you'll need to stay commit in order to work for you. you can't just give up just because it takes longer for it to work for you." most of my infertile friends got pregnant by taking just only vitex. vitex is cheaper, but the dosage is either too strong or too weak for me. i had brown spotting everyday for 3 months on vitex. i heard that false unicorn root use in conjunction with vitex or ovulex makes you super fertile. i was going to try false unicorn root along with ovulex this month, but i guess i don't need to anymore. baby dusts to you all out there who are trying.

Well I would just like to add my experience with ovulex. After I got off BC and we were TTC, I had very irregular periods and a friend of mine said that maybe the reason we were having problems was b/c of my cycle being so unpredictable. She suggested finding some kind of supplement to help be more regular, and that's how i found out about ovulex. I took it for three months and my periods were more regular, but I wasn't pregnant yet. I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now! When I was 16 I was diagonsed with PCOS and took birth control for several years to control the problem. When I went off birth control a year ago, my body went in a bad direction! I bleed for a whole month, starting to have two periods a month, my periods lately have had brown spotting before and after and only lasting about 3 days, and also not coming at a regualr time. Hey Monica, I was in the same boat as you. We have trying to conceive since Jan. and no luck. I went read stories and things on every website you could think of and I came across a story that had a woman in my situation. In her story it said that she was told the easiest and most promising way to conceive was to make sure after sex you stay laying on your back for at least 30 min. to an hour to give the sperm a bit of a push up because if you get up before that and use the bathroom or walk the sperm has to work its way up and may not make it. I decided to try it, I had nothing to loose. We tried for about a week and I am now 7 weeks alond. Please let me know if this helps you any. Hey WhizKid like madison said it a possiblity that she might be prego, but a P-test..and good luck!...Hey Jhen the best advice i can give you is find out when are you ovulating if you have a regular 28 period you should be ovualting around days 12-16 and its recomended you have sex every other day. 3/16/05 Hi I have been reading all of the postings concerning Ovluex. I am 29 and have been trying for 6 months. I have been taking Fertility Blend for about four months and I have not had any symptons or changes at all except that normally when I ovulate I feel a pain in my ovary and now I don't. I really want to try Ovluex but my fear is that it will effect my very normal, exactly 28 day cycle that only last for 4 to 5 days. I don't have Endo or any other problems, I have just been impatient and stressed. I have also taking the evening primrose oil and robitussin as well as charting my temp, but that became a headache. After the second week on Ovulex i started getting hot flashes but they only lasted for a couple of days. I am on my 4th week of Ovulex and i haven't experienced anymore hot flashes. I do, however, feel alot of spasms in my uterus...its as though the Ovulex is toning it. Has anyone felt anything like this on Ovulex? Also, i noticed that my breasts are really tender. Its as though i'm a teenager again cuz it seems like they are getting bigger (i've gone through 4 bras already! hahaha). I can definitely tell that my energy level has increased as i am not as tired as i used to be before i started taking Ovulex. Another perk of taking Ovulex is my skin is clearing up and looking more healthier and smooth. The downside to taking Ovulex is i still haven't gotten my period...that is one of the reasons i started taking Ovulex was to regulate my period (i have secondary ammenorhea). I don't even know if i've ovulated while on Ovulex. Oh well, time will tell and besides, its only been about a month since i started taking Ovulex. When i was just 17 years old, i had a cyst on my left ovary the size of an almond (completely covered my ovary). One day that cyst ruptured and i had internal bleeding for 48 hrs because the doctors could not immediately figure out what was wrong with me. I underwent surgery and recovered. Unfortunately, i sustained alot of scarring to my ovaries and fallopian tubes. In 2001, i underwent another surgery to try and remove the scar tissue from my ovaries and fallopian tubes. What should have been a simple 45 min procedure turned out to be a 3 hr procedure. The surgeon told me that although i had alot of scarring, he was able to remove about 75% of the scar tissue. Since then, my DH and i have been actively ttc. A fertility doctor that i was seeing told me that my DH and I should save our pennies because the only way we were going to have a child was through IVF. He did not explain any further the reasons of his statement. I am no longer seeing him nor do we have that kind of money to spend on a procedure that is not 100% guaranteed. We have refused to believe that we will never be parents. I have hope that someday, the good Lord will bless me and my DH with a beautiful child. Although I am quite irregular now (I haven't seen AF since Dec'04), I haven't always been like this. I just became extremely irregular when i hit my late 20's. Now i am looking at alternative ways that my DH and I can conceive...without surgery or harsh chemicals. I purchased a bottle of Ovulex 3 weeks ago after surfing this site. Since taking Ovulex, my skin has cleared up, i have alot more energy, and i can feel that my body is changing somehow. My breasts have become really tender in the last week and i have much more cervical fluid than i used to have. I have so much confidence that Ovulex will help me get pregnant, or at the very least regulate my period, that i have ordered 3 more bottles of Ovulex. I was just wondering how long it takes for Ovulex to start becoming effective. Has anyone gotten pregnant after the first bottle of Ovulex? Can i take Ovulex with Vitex to help increase my chances of getting pregnant? I can really use any suggestions or information that anyone is willing to give me. Thank you.

Hi - Just wanted to let everyone know about a great new book I found. It just came out in January. THE INFERTILITY CURE - The Ancient Chinese Wellness Program for Getting Pregnant and Having Healthy Babies - by Randine Lewis, Ph.D. It really gives a lot of hope. I have been doing acupuncture for 6 months and just bought Ovulex. I wish I would have found the book first because I would have ordered some custom Chinese herbs instead. It explains why herbs and acupuncture work towards balancing and nourishing the entire system and why some western methods actually deplete the system. 2/27/2005 Hi Michelle - Thanks for getting back to me and for your kind words. Losing our son was a really awful experience - I never expected to be trying to get pregnant at 44. If we hadn't lost him we would have been happy with the one we have (4 yr old) and that would be it. But now I want a baby more than ever - I guess because I want the joy to come back into our lives after this terrible sadness. It's nice to know that someone "older" got pregnant on ovulex. A couple of other message boards I've been too didn't offer much hope to older women. After 4 days on ovulex I ovulated (I have a clearblue fertility monitor) on day 13 which was a jump in the right direction since for the last several cycles I had been ovulating on day 18-20. I have also been having acupuncture every week and have given up coffee. Now I am trying to give up sugar and refined stuff - but that's a lot harder ! I came across this website while looking for info on Flax Oil, how I got here I do not know, but when I was reading helena's comments, I had to ask, has she been checked for a high prolactin level? The pituitary gland is where it comes from. I had all of the same tests as she and her husband did, come to find out I just needed medication to lower my prolactin level and "ovulate" on a regular basis. A high prolactin level can cause infertility. Well after I started the medication and had test's done I was told I would not get pregnant unless I had surgery, so I scheduled my pre-ops....and then cancelled the day before I was to go in, well a few weeks later I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. For some reason the blood work didn't pick up the pregnancy.......The medication worked, I'm not sure what product is being sold on this website but if it doesn't work, try the medication, its called dostinex....

2/17/05 Hi Everyone - It's so interesting to read your stories. I just ordered ovulex and I hope it will work for us too. I am 44 and I conceived naturally about 18 months ago. Unfortunately my cord prolapsed during delivery and we lost our beautiful 8 lb, full term, healthy boy - 4/12 to 4/21/04. We started trying again last July. The RE's wont have anything to do with me since I turned 44 and I'm overweight. I have also been seeing an acupuncturist and she looked at the ingredients and said it looked OK to her. BEVAN- congratulations!! you should be celebrating, not worrying. pcos only makes it alittle tougher to get pregnant, it shouldn't have any affect on your pregnancy. most likely you will be just fine, so revel in the good news, plenty of pcos ladies i know, have had healthy babies or are going to in the near future. let us know what happens at your appt! exciting news! Hi ladies, have been reading the comments/questions on this site for a few days now and deceided to jump in. I have been ttc for about 4 yrs and after laproscopies and 2 myomectomies AND infertility treatments (all to no avail), i got pregant the old-fashion way after using Fertility Blend for about a month in addition to accupucture. I miscarried after 8 weeks (last january), but still have hope that it will happen again. I started Ovulex last week and plan to continue with accupunture and massage therapy. Have any of you tried accupuncture in addtion to Ovulex? I also recently came across this clear passage treatment. It's non-invasive (which i love!) and is claiming a good success rate. Rosanna I'm sorry to hear that you have been bleeding that long I know that is worse than what I am going through I would rather not have it than have it that long I have had long periods before I think I had it for a month before so I know it is not a fun thing. esp. when your ttc. so far I haven't had my af show up yet and I have been taking ovulex since monday and I have been taking it on time I set the alarm on my cell phone and take it when it goes off that helps me so much so ladys that have cell phones give it a try if yours have that option. I am having the exact opposite problem, Theresa. I can't stop bleeding. I've pretty much been bleeding since late November. I can't even get in to see my doctor for a few weeks. I stopped taking Ovulex to see if helped..but it didn't. So...after about 2 weeks off..I'm going to start back up to see if it makes it stop. I'm up to trying just about anything at this point. And to make it worse..it's not even spotting blood..it's been heavy and bright red the whole time. I don't understand it...no one has. Hopefully Ovulex will help get me back to a semi-normal cycle so we can start TTC again.

Happy New Yar!! Hope everything is going well for everyone. Theresa I am praying for you. My aunt had her baby this morning. She was the second new year baby born in my state. I havent been to the hospital to see her yet but hubby and I will probably get up there tonight. I cant wait to see her. The doctors told my aunt when she was pg that the baby tested + for downs syndrome, but today they said there are no signs of downs. That is awesome. Hi Tonia. I can't say that ovulex will work for everyone. but my husband and I have been ttc for almost 3 years. really trying for a little over a year. I took ovulex for 3 months and I am now pg. I thought I was going to have to order more ovulex but apparently we conceived 1/2 way through my 3rd bottle. I would recommend it. what do you have to lose. Arlen, I am a born again christian too. I don't believe it is against Gods will for us to take herbs for childbearing. He gave us those herbs for our use. For food and healing. I beleive that due to our miss use of this earth the air we breath, the food we eat and the water we drink is filled with contamination that makes our body out of wack. Hi Michele, well I tested this morning and it was neg. so I just wish that if I am not that my af would show up I am afraid that it's going to wait until Christmas eve to show up and it's the pits being on it when you have an ann. Today is cycle day 43 for me and I am also almost done my second bottle I don't know why this is happening it looks like I would get regular should I start taking three pills a day so it will come on? I don't feel pregnant so I believe the test is right. I wish that something would happen either a postive test result or my af so we can try again. my temp this morning was 96.6 I started taking that so I could chart my cycle but didn't start that until a few days ago so it's hard to tell with that. Hi Michele, sorry to hear your not feeling well and I know your right it does come with being preggo. I'm on cycle day 41 and no af as of yet Last time I got it on day 38 I'm not even spotting so I don't know. I'm not feeling any signs at all and I'm almost done with this bottle of ovulex so I don't know when do you think I should break down and take a test? Thanks Sonja but I don't think this month is going to be my month but I would like it to I sometimes get fever blisters when my period is due and I have one on my lip and one trying to come on my nose so I think it will soon come I hate these things and like to hide out at home they aren't real bad they used to be real bad before I found this new stuff on the interent for them (H balm)and now they aren't as bad but this one on my lip really confused me at first I thought my lip was just chapped and then it came on and it's more sore than the others so I don't know what to think. I have been forgetting to take my ovulex at the right time and that may be why if I could just take it when I am suppose to maybe it would come on when it is suppose to. I am so glad I got my shopping done but now hubby wants to go out with friends tomorrow night and I keep telling him I am not going if my nose gets real bad and he keeps telling me I will and it doesn't look that bad. I have been shopping everyday this week except for tonight and I just want to stay home for a few nights it figures that he would make plans. I am also having slight cramps in my ovarys. congrats jillian!!! how far along are you?? that's terrific. w/b and share your story. enquiring minds, are always wanting to know :) hey theresea! how are you girl!! so, you are on cd30. well, i guess considering your cycle day last time, you don't have anything to worry about as of yet. my af symptoms dissappeared like yours did to, i don't know why, they just did. the women's body is a very complex and hard to predict organ! who knows if we'll ever understand it, but i hope you at least are enjoying the bd-ing, wink,wink. i cut my guy off the last couple days. i got these little, shock-like twinges of pain in my belly, but the dr. says it's nothing to worry about, just feels weird, so i really don't feel like doing the deed right now. the boobs are still increasing though. iam in a d cup size already. loving it!! i hope they stay alittle bigger afterwards. i was never real small to begin with, but when i lost weight, i lost boob, so the skinnier i got, the more i lost! that is the stinky part about losing weight. it never comes from where you want it to. i am up to a cool 109 lbs. now. i was scarcley 102, when i started. i think all that weight is in my bra though! anyway i better get going, the cats are calling for breakfast. i see the dr. tomorrow. i'll keep you posted!! i was due on june 11th, but they moved it down to june 6th, based on the sonogram. how they figure that all out, i'll never know, so i just entered my 4th mo! june can't come soon enough! i wish you and all the girls on the board a happy, and very lucky cycle, and alot of christmas cheer, and holiday baby dust sprinkled your way from me 2 u!!!! ++++ thoughts +++++

Hi Michele, I'm fine just haveing some stomach problems I have had to take my meds for it but I went today and picked up some aloe vera pills I wanted the juice but I will see if these help. I was having some sharp pains in my stomach and I think it is from all the acidy foods I have ate today I know I shouldn't eat many but I can't help it I love fresh pineapple and I had two big bowls today plus an orange so no wonder I was having problems I think these aloe pills will help me to not have to take my meds for it thought I watched dr.phil and thats what gave me the idea to try them. I'm excited for you I know I would be excited if it were me. I hope it does to, if this third bottle doesn't work I plan on calling them for a refund and hope they do send me a free bottle like they did for Jillian that is great bye the way Jillian I'm happy for you! hi ya'll, i'm back:) quick ??---i have been fighting a bad cold for a couple of weeks. does anyone know what to take that i can take with the ovulex? just spoke with a friend and just took a couple of echinacea along with some vitamin c and the multi- vite that i was taking. i was taking a prenatal but compared vites with the multi and the multi had more mg of the vitamins.the robitussin that i have at home is the one reserved for the big "o" and dont think that it has the symptoms for the cold i have.(your basic lots of sneezing, lots of blowing, stuffy head and slite headache so that you cant sleep either:( prefer natural to synthetic anyways. thank you for everyone's awesome advice:) sonja

hi.. spotting is not very normal for me... i have had some spotting since ovlex, but this brm mucas was weird. idid test after the abnomal af and it came up negative..gonna try to do the robitussin this cycle as "o" should be rt around the corner. just not sure if the 2 first days with just brn mucas counted as day 1 and 2. i only had this when i wiped in the a.m. Theresa, i will be praying for you. it is frustrating waitng when the pt symptoms and the af symptoms are so similiar. i have only 1 working tube, so i guess it will take longer since i dont know which month could be it..not sure if i will get another bottle, feeling sad.. i have always been pretty regular , but i do know my ovulation periods have lengthened big time. last cycle i had the cm like for a whole week.baby dust to all!!!!

sonja, are you used to spotting? some women do every month, and that is normal for them, but if not, it can always be a sign of implantation bleeding. let me know, i'll try to help you out. what cycle day are you on, if you count them? if not, i suggest trying that, from the first real day of your af on...makes planning sex, and understanding your cycles, so much easier!! i wish i did it alot sooner. all of my best! +++thoughts! sincerely, michele

It's late and I am hungry and I am not suppose to eat before bed I hope I can go to sleep, I'm trying to lose the weight that I gained by not counting points my jeans are getting tight and I have no excuse for that I refuse to go higher than a 6 before you know it I will be back to my heavy weight if I don't stop it now so I am working hard to lose it I only have about 8 pounds I would like to lose maybe after that another few pounds but I don't want to think of it as anymore than that at a time.Love Theresa

hi theresa, i hope i spelled your name right, took a while to scroll down so that i could post.:)i hope that you get your wish this month and af takes a hike! thank you for the info on robitussin:) i am not sure what day to start counting, the last period was weird 11/29 only lte brn mcas when wiping, the same on 11/30, 12/1 lite spots on mini pad and little blood when i pee, nothing on the pad overnite,12/2 only bled litely when peed, then 12/3 heavy for not even 1 hour, then went real lite, then 12/4 and 12/5 only needed mini.. not sure what to count as day 1. havent really had the brn stuff before.so far trying the ovulex(on the last bottle), green tea and will try the robuttussin. thank you

Well I just did a post and lost it so I will try again. I called the lady about the baby and left a message my sister said that she was looking for someone to take the baby I would have called her sooner if I would have known that I thought that she was going to just give it to social services I would love to have it but I won't get my hopes up for it because it is a long shot. If it happens it's the Lord will if not then it wasn't he knows whats best for us more than we do. I'm on cday 29 so I am expect ing af very soon I have had tender bb and pain in my ovarys today I have had discharge but it is white. the pms isn't as bad as it normally is since I have been taking the flax seed oil that stuff works really great! That is sweet that you wanted to do that when you were younger I never thought about it then I always thought I would just have my own and I never thought I would have problems conceiveing because my mom had adnormal periods and never had a problem she had four kids. I did use the pre-seed last month, I can't remember where I got it but if you search online for it you can find the cheapest that way I usually do that it will probably be about 25.00 includeing shipping fees you may find cheaper. I took another test and it is Neg. I think I will start back on progestrone cream again since I was off of it yesterday because it says to use 3weeks and then start again on the bottle so. I had only been taking it for 2weeks so I think I will start again then stop in about a week and see what happens maybe I will get my period . Thank You girls

Thank you yeah this is kinda werid this cycle I am very irregular but I still when i do have my period it started and goes for a full 7days usually with the 2nd to 3rd day the heavist. I i dunno. (at the right time to!). yeah i went through the robitussin like water myself, have any of you gals, ever tried the product pre-seed? it's supposed to be the only, truly, sperm-friendly moisturizer available? anyway theresea, i hope you hit it this month. my cm was never so hot, yours sounded terrific this month! ((lots of baby dust your way!)) hey krystal, wow, you got your period at 11. i was 15 almost 16, but i was into gymnastics and such, so the dr. told me, i could be later the some gals. i did have to use the provera a couple times myself. that stuff worked real quick for me. your cycle this month seems very different then average. do you usually have full days of bleeding? do you get stop and start, get light to dark, and back again? your history should tell you alittle bit about it, has this ever occured before that you can think of, since age 11? i always got my periods real bad and heavy, and on the 3rd day it would dissapper for only a few hours and came back on strong till day 5. anything much different then that, would make me suspicious of myself. my cycle lengths got longer as i got older though. don't know what made that happen. just one of life's wonders, but if this is totally odd for you, i might contact the doctor and see if he could have a looksy. maybe he can do an ultrasound or something, to put your mind at ease, eigther way. funny but a good friend of mine, got a neg. home pregnancy test throughout her whole 9 months of being pregnant. isn't that strange? iam telling you, weird things happen in this life, and with these bodies of ours, don't rule anything out just yet. i will keep you n my thoughts and prayers:)

I'm so glad I have you girls to talk to :-) Ok Nov 25th started brownish discharge (sorry TMI) and Nov 26th I had more of it and it had some pinkish mixed in with it. Tested Neg.. then Nov 27th i had brownish little crampy then it changed into bright red lightish. then Nov 28th light bleeding for alittle while it was red some cramping not much or bad. Then today NOTHING at all. Since I started my period Michelle I stated at age 11 and I was regular and then it stop i think by age 15 became irregular and was dig. w/PCOS in 2000 and since then I had to take Provera to get a period sometimes it would start but i would or could go a year without one. Went to a fertiltiy dr in 2002 said everything checked out except I had PCOS and said there is no other reason I should get pregnant. so put me on clomid took up to 200mgs failed . Had tubes checked they are PERFECT . Husband checked had 55million and 60% mobility said that was good. and to try glugophage again but I couldnt handle it. They told me I was not insulin resistant. CLOMID messed me up I had a chemical reaction to it where I cant eat fruit now :-(/... So since then I have been using natural progestrone cream off and on and started Ovulex Oct 10,2004. got period after 7mnts of not having one the next day and then started this Brownish stuff .. (I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED IT BEFORE) so was very excited maybe implantation bleeding then it turned red so depressed now I DUNNO> because I have nothing. TOOK test this morning and it was NEG> .. I hope this explains alittle bout me.

Sojona, I am taking the robotussian you should take the guaifenesin-only expectorant and contains 100 mg per teaspoon and you take it on day 10 of your cycle and take it until you ovulate. It says on the web page I got my info from to take 2 teaspoons three times aday. This is my first month on it and I had one day of really fertil cm, I plan on trying next month if I am not pregnant this month the Evening Primrose Oil they say you should take it the first day of your period up intil ovulation then the day of ovulation you should use flax seed oil and they say that you can use that during pregnancy flax seed not the other it is not good to take while pregnant and that flax s is good for the growing baby.The evening Primerose oil helps you to have more cm you can check it out if you surf the web on it. I am trying not to stress out to much this month about getting pregnant I have no idea if or when I ovulated because I didn't catch the double line this month on the o test strips I only caught two days of faint lines, but I did have the fertile cm and we did bd on that day and some other days I felt like I may have o yesterday but from reading about the cm and if I go by that I would have o sooner. So I guess it is just the waiting game now we will probably bd a few more days just to be on the safe side but if not then there is always next month. I think I will start trying to take my temp next month as well if it didn't work this month. Kystral how many days did you have your period or spotting? it sounds like you could have had implantation bleeding I would test again if I were you. Michele yes we bd the day that it was real stretchy and the day after and after that and I think the day before I think my fertil time is over though I don't have as much cm. so time will tell if we hit it or not.I was testing in the morning that is the only time I could hold it for more than 4 hours so I probably missed it. I hope you plan on shareing with the board what you find out about the babys sex. ummm...good question. krystal i did the temp thing, but really i wasn't too fond of that method. iam not able to consistently check every morning with great accuracy and clearly interpret the results, as precisely as needed to be "sure". i tired and failed many times at it. i know that temps stay higher if you are pg, but that's about all i know about that. i wouldn't use that as your sole, method of interpretation. sounds like a strange period to me, if it is one. have you gotten anything like this in your entire 'womanhood" lifetime? or is this new to you? have you done a more recent test? let us know. i know right now it's all baffeling, but we'll try to make some sense out of it!! are you crampy?? w/b soon ok? luv, michele ps- sonja w
